Is Brad Pitt ready to go back to War?

The actor's new film World War Z—which had its world premiere Sunday in London, where fiancée Angelina Jolie made her first red-carpet appearance post-surgery—has yet to hit theaters, but that hasn't stopped early chatter about a possible sequel, should the film take a zombie-size chomp out of the box office.

Is a follow-up in the cards? (World War ZZ? World War Z2? World War Z Squared?)

E! News caught up with the 49-year-old Pitt at the premiere, where he remained coy while still keeping the door open for a redux.

"We gotta see if this one works first," he said. "But there's tons of information to mine from the book, certainly."

The actor added that the film is on "such an international scale," noting that "there's a lot we can do with it."

"I think it's gonna be the most intense film you see all summer," Pitt promised. "It's massive, it's great summer fun."

Meanwhile, his leading lady, Mireille Enos (who was more than happy to chat about waking up next to Pitt—in the movie), was a wee bit more forthcoming about a return to World War Z's zombie apocalypse—and she may have provided the most telling revelation yet that we could see a follow-up.

When asked point blank about how many more World War Z films she's signed up for, the 37-year-old actress answered, "Ah, three," before flashing a sly grin.

"I don't know anything," she later teased.

True enough, seems like the undead don't stay dead for long!
