The hits just keep coming on American Idol. (But we aren't talking about the Bilboard 100 kind)

The Idol summer tour has been scaled back following a low-rated season, the tour's production company 19 Entertainment has announced.

Originally, Idol winner Candice Glover and 10 other season 13 hopefuls were set to perform in 40 different venues, beginning June 29. Now, they'll hit only 31 venues and the tour will begin July 19.

A spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter: "Due to production scheduling changes, the American Idol 2013 Tour will now begin on July 19th and go through the summer until August 31st. The Idols look forward to performing in 30 venues across the country."

Fox continues to look for new judges for the upcoming 14th season, as Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are all out.

Sources tell E! News that Jennifer Hudson is on board, and Kelly Clarkson was also in consideration but is now out of the running.
