It's Official! Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young Tie the Knot!

American Idol alums say "I Do" at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Los Angeles Saturday

Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young are officially husband and wife.

E! News confirms American Idol's first official couple tied the knot at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Los Angeles Saturday afternoon in front of 250 guests, including fellow Idol alums Elliot Yamin, Michael Johns and Kevin Covais.

While Diana wasn't sure if her brother David would be able to make it to her wedding, he returned from Afghanistan to walk her down the aisle, where the 25-year-old songstress looked stunning as she strolled towards her hubby-to-be wearing a Sareh Nouri gown, complete with a beaded belt, custom veil, and blue cowboy boots.

It was obviously an emotional moment for Diana, who told E! News that when she saw her brother, "It took every ounce of strength I had not to burst into tears. When we turned the corner and I saw Ace at the altar it was beautiful."

The groom was just as emotional, adding "I was crying before I even saw Diana walk around the corner."

Ace got a round of applause when he came down the aisle wearing a customized tux that featured the lyrics of the song he and Diana wrote, "I Do." The couple wrote their own vows, a sweet moment leaving Diana in tears several times while speaking hers. After their first, long kiss, guests threw multicolored confetti in the air!

The purple and yellow-themed wedding was planned by Renee Strauss, and the flowers and the décor for the ceremony were created by celebrity floral and event designer Kevin Lee and LA Premier Flower Shop.

Following the nuptials, the couple headed to their reception and danced their first dance to a song they co-wrote and produced together called, "I Do."

Diana and Ace met on the set of the Broadway revival of Hair in 2010, after appearing on Idol in season three and season five respectively. 

Their romance soon sparked while working on the production, and Ace later popped the question to his ladylove on the season 11 finale of American Idol last year.
