It appears doctors have solved the mystery behind Dick Van Dyke's unspecified neurological disorder.

Just a month after the 87-year-old actor was forced to scrap a planned public appearance due to a mysterious medical condition, Van Dyke hit Twitter to tell fans what was causing his head pain.

"It seems that my titanium dental implants are the cause of my head pounding," he tweeted Thursday. "Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for all your replies."

The Diagnosis Murder star told fans back in April via Twitter, "my head bangs every time I lay down. I've had every test come back that I'm perfectly healthy," adding that his symptoms had been occurring for seven years.

Van Dyke's publicist told Entertainment Tonight at the time that the thesp bowed out of the event because of "fatigue and lack of sleep resulting from symptoms of a yet-to-be diagnosed neurological disorder."

As a result, the Hollywood legend had to cancel all commitments requiring travel on doctor's orders, and rest at his home in Malibu, Calif.
