A Google Street View image showing a woman apparently getting the boot from her boyfriend's house after getting dumped has gone viral.

The picture was posted on Reddit by a user going by the handle Ipmark04 who wrote, "Google Streetview captures the glorious moment when my buddy kicks his now ex-gf out of his house."

The pic caused quite a stir on the social media site as various Netizens debated whether the sighting was real. Some wondered whether the supposedly heartbroken pedestrian was simply cleaning out her car by the appearance of floor mats on the ground, while others suggested she had simply taken a trip to the beach given the folding chairs on the grass.

However, Inquisitr.com reports user Ipmark04 vouched for its authenticity in a description accompanying the shot.

"This picture was taken a couple years ago since they have been broken up for a while now," the user wrote. "My buddy no longer lives in the same town as me but I became aware of this recently by his brother who is currently my coworker. I find this even more hilarious because I actually knew this girl, as me and my then-gf, her and my buddy used to double date occasionally."

This isn't the first unusual and dare we say hilarious situation Google's Street View has recorded. In fact, there's even a website devoted to all the bizarre occurrences the tech giant's video teams have ran across while mapping the world's transportation corridors.
