Busy Philipps juggles many roles: an actress, wife, mother and now a proud defender of pregnant celebs everywhere.

"This total obsession with pregnant celebrities, how much weight they gain, what they're eating, what they look like, how they're going to lose it, I just feel like culturally we're just not being very kind," she told Amanda de Cadenet on The Conversation.

And while the 33-year-old is expecting her second child shortly, there's one thing we shouldn't expect from the star.

"You will never see my 'body after baby' spread, I think it sends such a bad image," she revealed.

Philipps spoke out strongly against the impossibly high standards that women in Hollywood face today. "Every actress is expected to be a model."

Philipps also confessed to battling her own body image issues in the past.

"I was once asked to lose weight by a network for a TV pilot," she said. She added that her agent at the time had asked that she lose 15-20 pounds from her frame.

And while time has passed since the troubling ordeal, Philipps admits still occasionally struggles with her body image.

"I'm so mean to myself about my body sometimes," she said.

Good for her for being so open with her feelings!
