She's bold, she's beautiful...and she drives faster than most boys could ever dream of!

Danica Patrick is not only an award-winning race car driver with a number of endorsement deals to her name, but she's also a force to be reckoned with on and off the track.

Here are five fun facts about the fierce female athlete, who, despite that little crash this weekend, is still a champion in our eyes:

1. She's a Midwest Girl. Patrick was raised in Beloit, Wis., and was raised in Roscoe, Ill. She first started racing go-carts with her younger sister at age 10.

2. She Didn't Finish High School. The brunette beauty dropped out of school to pursue racing. She was signed with Rahal-Letterman Racing in 2002, which is co-owned by David Letterman.

3. She's a Record-Breaker. The fearless little lady was the fourth woman to race in the Indianapolis 500 and holds a third-place finish from 2009. In 2013, Patrick won the time trials at the Daytona 500, and later placed 8th in the race.

4. She's a Role Model. Her positive outlook and determination to succeed is certainly admirable. "I was brought up to be the fastest driver, not the fastest girl," she has said. "I've been lucky enough to make history and be the first woman to do many things. We have a lot more history to make and we are excited to do it."

5. She's Multitalented. Besides her talent on the race track, Patrick has netted numerous deals as a spokesperson, model, host and prominent on-air personality. In 2006, she published her autobiography, Danica: Crossing the Line.
