Ryan Gosling Gets Hands-On While Directing How to Catch a Monster

Actor is currently shooting his debut behind the lens

Ryan Gosling has been burning the midnight oil while working on his directorial debut entitled How To Catch a Monster.

The film has been shooting on location in Detroit, Mich., where the Movement Electronic Music Festival has been going on this holiday weekend.

Gosling decided to film at the concert Saturday evening and was seen concentrating on capturing the perfect shot.

The 32-year-old opted to use a hand-held camera for the scene and looked rather rugged in a hooded sweatshirt and grown-out beard. 

The fantasy thriller is set to star Christina Hendricks and his real life leading lady, Eva Mendes.

The anticipation is building already for this film to hit the big screen!
