Jason Sudeikis claims that he hasn't made up his mind yet about whether last weekend's Saturday Night Live was his last as a regular cast member.

Asked on The View today about the rumors that he won't be returning in the fall, stirred up by Jay Pharoah's goodbye tweetOlivia Wilde's funny fiancé beat around the bush for a bit as he tried to characterize where he's at in the decision-making process.

"Yeah, well, I mean...You never leave the show," Sudeikis said philosophically. "You never leave the show, I really believe that. I think these last few weeks have shown that, with [Kristen Wiig] coming back to host, [Mya Rudolph's] been back."

"Yes, but..." Barbara Walters prompted him.

"And then, you know, it never leaves you," Sudeikis continued. "You take it everywhere. Will I be working there in the fall?"

"That's what I'm asking," Walters countered.

"I know, I feel honored to be getting hardballed by you!" the star of the upcoming animated feature Epic said. But, "I don't know. I sincerely don't know at this point."

"I gotta deal with saying goodbye to some near, dear friends that are definitely leaving," he added, "and get that out of my head and go on vacation a little bit and mull it all over."

Walters told him that she hoped he would stay, and he told the veteran newswoman, who announced that she'll be retiring next year, "I appreciate that, thank you very much. Likewise! If you stay, I'll stay, how about that?"

Sounds like a win-win!
