This Backstreet Boy is about to put more of his life into the public eye.

Nick Carter is currently working on his eighth album with the boy band titled In a World Like This, which hits stores July 30. But he will be revealing a deeper look into his life through his memoir Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It, which is slated for a  Sept. 24 release through Bird Street Books.

According to ABC News, the autobiography and self-help book will include stories about Carter's teenage years in the multiplatinum Backstreet Boys, his struggles with substance and alcohol abuse, and the hardships of his family.

There were also reports that Carter was set to star and executive produce a reality show revolving around him and his fiancée, Lauren Kitt, as they prepare to walk down the aisle together. But Carter's rep shot down the notion, telling E! News that there's "no reality show."
