Brad Pitt brought some Hollywood glam to New Jersey last night!

Angelina Jolie's love surprised fans in Hoboken by showing up at an advance screening of World War Z.

Wearing black pants and a black button-down, his hair pulled back, the 49-year-old father of six seemed to be in good spirits. A fan video of the appearance shows Pitt addressing an excited, cheering crowd before the movie begins.

"Thank you all for coming out," he said. "I know it's late, and we really appreciate it...Today we came out to show the film for the people we made it for—our fans!"

"We said, well there's no other place better than Jersey!" he added. "We've got T-shirts for everyone, and we've got a massive film for you. It's epic, it's scary as hell, and I guarantee you it's the most intense thing you're gonna see all summer."

Journalist Rick Marshall summed up the evening with a tweet, writing, "On my way home after a surprise screening of World War Z. That Brad Pitt guy showed up. We talked about zombies and stuff. Good times."

Earlier in the day, Pitt was all smiles at a more traditional screening for the film in NYC. Celebs including Bruce Willis, Kevin Bacon, Katie Couric and Jimmy Fallon all appeared pretty excited to checkout the post-apocalyptic flick.

Fun stuff! And for the rest of us, World War Z opens June 21.
