After 51-year-old Jackie Underwood passed away following a battle with breast cancer, her children wanted to tell the world exactly how they felt about the horrific disease.

So, they created hats and clothing emblazoned with the phrase "F--k Cancer," replacing the expletive's "c" with the iconic pink breast cancer-awareness ribbon.

Alas, the fashion statement was not welcome at a North Philadelphia mall. While shopping for funeral clothes, mall security requested that sisters Zakia Clark and Makia Underwood remove the caps. Ultimately, the confrontation ended in the women being kicked out of the shopping center.

Mall management said in a statement: "The mall is first and foremost a family destination. Certain words and images, whether obvious or suggested, spoken or written on clothing, are considered profane and can offend many people."

But the sisters have pointed out that stores in the mall such as Urban Outfitters have similarly spunky clothing on display, including an item that reads "*expletive' you," according to ABC affiliate WPVI.

"To say they don't want that in their mall, but they sell it... it just wasn't right," Makia told the local station. "It wasn't right to kick us out, and you sell things with curse words on them."
