Teen Mom 2 star was booked and released on a $1,000 bond

Jenelle Evans couldn't get herself to the court on time.

So, according to her attorney, the Teen Mom 2 star was arrested Monday in North Carolina after missing a hearing pertaining to a cyberstalking case.

"She failed to get to court before the court ended its business," lawyer Dustin R.T. Sullivan tells E! News. "She was late to court today and had to turn herself in. There was a $1,000 bond set."

Evans "is doing fine," he added.

Brunswick County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Emily B. Flax confirms that Evans came in around 1 p.m. ET and was released about an hour later after being processed and posting the $1,000 bond.

Evans is also facing fallout from her and estranged hubby Courtland Rogers' bust last month on suspicion of heroin possession and assault.
