Britney Spears is feeling kinda blue.

The singer has gotten into a Smurf-y state of mind, as she's now unveiled her new track featured on the soundtrack to the upcoming summer flick The Smurfs 2.

The catchy ditty layers Brit-Brit's whimsical vocals atop upbeat electro bangers, while a rollicking guitar strums in and out. Consider it vintage Britney...with an oddly folksy pop-tart twist.

Interestingly, Spears will be the second popster connected with the film: Katy Perry is set to return as the voice of Smurfette.

The first Smurfs movie opened in 2011 to little fanfare—and low expectations—but shocked box-office watchers when it drummed up $35 million on opening weekend, eventually coasting to a $563 million final tally worldwide.

The Smurfs 2 hits theaters on July 31.
