Zoe Saldana's weight has been one hot topic all week long, thanks to Allure magazine's decision to reveal her number on their June cover.

And while the actress shrugged it off during an interview with Today, plenty of media outlets are still up in arms about the ethical reasoning of reporting such a private matter and its effect on readers.

Which got us thinking: Is one's weight that big of a deal? Some stars don't seem to think so!

Here are a handful of confident ladies who have gone on the record about their weight, adding light to the heavy topic:

Amanda Bynes: The young star recently took a selfie wearing just a lace bra and leggings and took her body image issues to Twitter. "About to put on makeup! I weigh 135, I've gained weight! I need to be 100 lbs!" she declared. While we think she looks just fine at her current weight, it's not every day that you hear such a public pronouncement.

Katy Perry: The sexy singer opened up to Elle in March 2011 about her weight struggle, stating "I'm generally 130 pounds, which is totally fine for me. But when I was a kid, I was the same height and weighed more like 145."

Kourtney Kardashian: On an episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the eldest famous sister stepped on a bathroom scale in front of beau Scott Disick and Kim Kardashian and weighed in at 115. The revelation quickly led to an open discussion about her pre-baby weight of 95, where Scott offered his honest opinion: "I feel like 93 is the dream."

Mila Kunis: In preparation for her ballerina role in Black Swan, the brunette beauty candidly told E! about her 20-pound weight loss, dropping to a mere 95 pounds. "I had no shape, no boobs, no ass…All you saw was bone. I was like, This looks gross."

Tyra Banks: A true champion for positive self-esteem and body image acceptance, the famous supermodel, TV personality and America's Next Top Model host made a big deal to the press about her controversial size with bold self-confidence back in 2007. Not only did she famously pose for People with a headline that read 'You Call This Fat?', but she's openly shared that her weight has fluctuated 30 pounds, give or take, since her modeling days, and she couldn't be prouder of her figure.
