The Great Gatsby star Joel Edgerton was recently spotted wearing a shiny silver band on his left ring finger while promoting the hit film at the Cannes Film Festival this week.
The actor was seen with the bling on the red carpet during the premiere and the press call on May 15, which prompted some to wonder whether it was a wedding band.
Well, it's not.
His rep tells E! News that reports of it being a wedding ring are "inaccurate"; the actor is neither married nor engaged.
But he's not lonely. Edgerton's been seen at the French festival displaying major PDA with gorgeous girlfriend Alexis Blake, both at the film's premiere and during his free time throughout the beachside town.
And that's reason enough to congratulate him.
