Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep all on the same silver screen?! Color us intrigued.

Gyllenhaal and Pine are reportedly in talks to join Disney's adaptation of the Broadway musical Into the Woods, a project which already credits Streep and Depp as castmembers.

The Hollywood Reporter claims the talented twosome have already met—and sung—for director Rob Marshall, whose musical credits include Nine and Chicago, although no official deal is in the works.

If the handsome pair signs on for the project, it will be their first onscreen singing roles (swoon!).

The fairytale mashup film, which features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, follows a childless baker and his wife who have been cursed by a witch. As the couple embarks on a quest to lift the spell, they encounter a variety of fairy-tale characters, including Cinderella, Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel.

According to the THR report, Streep will play the evil witch, while Depp will play a sexy wolf. Gyllenhaal and Pine will reportedly play two pompous princes (who will surely steal our hearts!).

Produced by John DeLuca, Into the Woods is based on the Tony-award winning musical written by James Lapine.

Do hope to see Gyllenhaal and Pine get their musical on? Tell us in the comments!
