At least that's one theory that stars such as Charlize Theron, Rebecca Hall and Zoe Saldana have proved to be true at recent events.
It make perfect sense. In a sea of couture gowns, printed frocks or standard LBDs, a refreshing pantsuit always steals the spotlight.
The look is also ideal for stars such as Kristen Stewart who like to blur the lines between feminine and masculine styles. Most recently the Twilight star donned the trend by wearing a lace Stella McCartney version at the 2013 Met Gala.
Another big bonus? The sleek onesie shows off celebs' fit figures with being completely body hugging (think, bandage dress).
Perhaps it's the easy, comfy nature of the duds that has also caused stars to add jumpsuits to their street style too. Just last week, the always fashion forward Gwen Stefani stepped out in a denim number and the week prior, Charlize opted for a silky grey one while out with her son.
But while the jumpsuit fad is hot right now, we have a feeling it might transition into the romper comeback this summer.
