As if Prince Harry hasn't done enough during his U.S. tour to make the ladies' hearts melt, he goes off and plays some T-ball with the kids.
After visiting damaged areas of New Jersey affected by Hurricane Sandy with Gov. Chris Christie this morning, he young royal made is way to Harlem, where he teamed up with Harlem RBI, a nonprofit organization designed to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to "recognize their potential and realize their dreams" by coaching and playing on teams.
During Harlem RBI's Field of Dreams event, Prince Harry was joined by New York Yankees' first baseman Mark Teixeira and Sen. Jose Serrano as he coached the kids and even stepped up to bat.
The organization tweeted, "#coachharry (prince harry) hits a ball pitched by @teixeiramark25 to the outfield on our #FieldofDreams!," and Teixeira added, "It was an honor to spend the afternoon with Prince Harry @HarlemRBI today. He is a natural coach, and has a great swing! #coachharry"
Harry's visit marked the launch of a partnership with Harlem RBI and The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. "With Prince Harry at @HarlemRBI event in #EastHarlem. Thankful for his support of the youth in our community!," Serrano tweeted.
Kate Middleton's brother-in-law was also accompanied by Prime Minister David Cameron earlier today, who were each presented with dolls of themselves by Makielab company cofounder Jo Roach during part of a U.K. business campaign called "GREAT" at the Milk Studios in New York.
Harry will be participating in engagements for charities with which he is closely associated with on the behalf of the government, with a focus on supporting injured service men from the U.K. and U.S. forces.
His royal responsibilities today will come to an end at reception and dinner with the American Friends of the Royal Foundation, before jetting off to Connecticut tomorrow for his last day in America.
Yeah, we miss him already, too.
