Hotness is a regular occurrence at Jon Hamm's house—but despite today's visit from the fire department, no actual combustion has resulted as yet.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirms to E! News that they responded to a call made at 9:12 a.m. of an alarm going off at the Los Feliz home the Mad Men star shares with longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt

Engines were at the scene seven minutes later and, three minutes after that, they were ready for their next call after determining that the situation was a false alarm.

There was no word if anyone was at the house at the time—or if the alarm could have been triggered by a prankster who was really ticked off by Don Draper last night.

In real life, Hamm was in New York recently and had mentioned during his April 29 appearance on The Daily Show that he would be off to India soon to shoot a movie with Aasif Mandvi about a Major League Baseball recruiter looking for talent among cricket players in Asia.
