Courtesy of Giuliana RancicI am so excited to finally be able to celebrate my first Mother's Day as a mom. My journey to having a baby was not an easy one. Between my struggles with fertility and then breast cancer, I went through the darkest times of my life. But it was all worth it the moment I held Duke in my arms for the first time and each and every day since then has been a dream come true.
This has by far been the best year of my life and Bill and I feel so lucky to finally have our child. He is such a great baby, too! He is always smiling and laughing and playing. We hit the jackpot with our little guy!
On the morning of Mother's Day I am putting an auto response email on my phone saying I am unavailable all day to spend Mother's Day with my son and husband. That way I will really be able to unplug and enjoy the day.
