Nothing funny here, folks.

On the heels of renewing Parks and Recreation for a sixth season, NBC has canceled four of its comedies.

Not returning in the fall are freshman sitcoms Guys With Kids and 1600 Penn, as well as Whitney and Up All Night.

After a lackluster freshman season, Up All Night intended to revamp by turning it into a multicamera (traditional) format. The series hit a major roadblock when star Christina Applegate, who played one-half of the show's main couple alongside Will Arnett, quit. "The show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors," she explained of her decision to leave.

NBC has yet to announce the fate of comedies Community, Go On and The New Normal.

Oh, and the network also canceled the mystery-drama Deception.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
