Star's Brentwood home reportedly has illegal oversize fence

Gwyneth Paltrow is already making quite the stir in her new Brentwood neighborhood.

After purchasing the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion for almost $10 million last year, the actress erected a new gate by the entrance of the property.

But it looks like the Iron Man 3 actress is already running into some troubles with the new fence.

E! News confirms that there was a complaint filed to the Department of Building & Safety for the overly tall gate. The legal height limit for gates in Los Angeles is 6 feet and reports have estimated that the newly installed gate is 9 feet.

Paltrow's rep has not yet replied to request for comment.

Nothing like a neighborhood complaint in lieu of a welcome party!
