It's official: Anne Hathaway looks amazing as a blonde.

We loved her daring hair color risk at Monday night's punk-themed Met Gala when she showed up with shockingly lighter locks, but now that the buzz has died down and we can take a closer look at her makeover, it's quite clear that she's totally owning this look.

Last night the actress stepped out at the Tate Americas Foundation Dinner wearing a mini dress with metallic accessories for a head-turning look that begged to be noticed.

And while her pale ensemble, fair complexion and brighter 'do might have posed a problem for potentially washing her out, her expertly-applied eye makeup added the perfect amount of intensity to pop her features.

Her sideswept bangs and sleek ultra-shiny locks reminded us of Carey Mulligan's 1960s-inspired mod look, and we have to say, we're totally on board with this cool beauty transformation.
