Oprah Winfrey's putting her green thumb to work.

The media mogul shared that she's making some changes on the homefront, mainly including a (huge) new addition to her property that will allow some shady serenity in the coming summer months.

"Placing a big oak in my front yard with Ricardo. #newshade," she wrote with a photo on Instagram.

Winfrey posed on top of the gigantic wooden shipping crate alongside her landscaping connoisseur, while both dressed comfortably in sweats.

This garden addition falls in line with Oprah's ongoing makeover to her $86 million Montecito, Calif., mansion, which she revealed in February.

"The gilded mirrors, marble urns, the lavish carpets and sherbet palette—it was all very grand, but it wasn't very true to myself," Winfrey said in the March issue of O magazine. "And there you have it: The thing that had been missing from all of the beautiful places I'd ever lived in was me!"

And a big oak tree.
