Singer takes to Twitter to unveil her new hair color

Call me redhead?

Singer Carly Rae Jepsen has swapped her rich brunette hair color for a ravishing red hue. And apparently, the bold new look is one she's been eager to try out for quite some time now.

"I've always wanted to go red!" she tweeted, along with a picture of her colorful new coif. 

Playfully kicking up her heeled foot, the sassy songbird showed off her gorgeous ginger locks in a half-up 'do. And in a move that proves Jepsen didn't want too drastic of a change, she kept her signature fab fringe.

Jepsen is the latest in a long line of celebs who are rocking red 'dos, including Ariel Winter, Michelle Trachtenberg, Dianna Agron and Megan Fox.

While Fox probably dyed her hair in prep to play the real-life version of animated redhead April O'Neil in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, Jepsen and her fellow gingers are proving red-hot red hair color is quickly becoming Hollywood's hottest trend!
