The Oscar winner flashed an infectious grin as she strolled through Los Angeles on Tuesday. Stylishly dressed, the 37-year-old Mud star definitely appeared to be in an upbeat mood.
Nearly three weeks ago, Witherspoon and her husband, Jim Toth, were arrested in Atlanta. The actress later pleaded no contest to a charge of obstruction of another after disobeying a police officer's command to stay in her car, and paid a fine of $313.
Toth, meanwhile, pleaded guilty to DUI in a plea bargain. He was placed on 12 months' probation and sentenced to perform 40 hours of community service and attend an alcohol education program, a Mothers Against Drunk Driving class and pay a fine, as a result.
