Project Runway announces the winner

Another Runway winner has been crowned! And while it's not Kit "Pistol" Scarbo, whom our sun and moon revolves around here at E! (and yes, I know she was kicked off a while ago), I suppose I can live with the outcome. Maybe.

But even better, we have some fascinating Runway scoop from both the L.A. and NYC PR finale parties that went down last night! And to protect you fools who still haven't seen last night's finale and who don't want to hear who won (I recommend earmuffs, an underwater tank and not coming to sites like these), dish seekers need to click "Read More" to get the dirt...

Jillian was robbed!

Okay, with that out of the way, I can say Christian Siriano just might be the most understated reality-competition winner of all time. At last night's finale party in Manhattan, he looked slightly bored and uninterested while saying things like, "Yeah, mmm-hmm, I won," and "[I have] no regrets. Not a one." Hello?! Don't you know regrets are what reality television is made of?

Still, my girl Kit (whom I trust wholeheartedly) insists she's happy with the outcome. "I was thrilled that Christian won," she told us this morning. "I thought Rami was going to win, and then when they said Christian I was really excited. They both were deserving, but Christian is going to go places.”

Runner-up Rami Kashou actually seemed in better (more grateful) spirits at the NYC soiree, saying, "The reward has been so overwhelmingly amazing. A lot of doors are opening, and it’s just been great. I’m working on my next collection. I’m talking to some potential investors. I’m interviewing with some pretty high-profile designers. So, it’s a matter of which way I want to go after this.”

As for being known as a "draper," Rami just laughed and said, "On a reality show, it can be used as a stereotype, which I understand, that’s fine. But I’m proud of it—I’ll keep on draping forever. I have a quote: When in doubt, drape!”

Meanwhile, at the L.A. screening party at Cinespace, season-two favorites Nick Verreos and Santino Rice held nothing back. Nick said his clear favorite was Rami, whom he said gave a "consistent view of what to expect," though he loved that Jillian had the "Uli factor"—the "real factor" that allows women to feel so connected to the clothing. As for Santino? He was still mourning the loss of Sweet P and, in general, the overall state of the fourth season. "This season wasn't the best."

Christian might disagree.
