Watch: Carey Mulligan Very Excited to Meet Jay-Z

Count Carey Mulligan among Jay-Z's millions of fans.

During a special screening of her upcoming movie The Great Gatsby in New York City over the weekend, the actress shared her enthusiasm about recently coming face-to-face with Beyoncé's other half.

"I was very excited to meet Jay-Z," Mulligan told E! News on the red carpet, before adding with a laugh: "I made a fool of myself."

Hova not only executive produced the Gatsby soundtrack, he also contributed the song "100$ Bill."

Meanwhile, when the subject of whether or not Mulligan ever had a childhood crush came up, the 27-year-old star, who is now married to hunky Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford, admitted she "never had pin-ups or posters on the wall of people," but did reveal she "was kind of into Michael Schumacher, the Formula One racer."

Of course, we'll soon get to see Leonardo DiCaprio's heart, er, racing, in the presence of Mulligan when The Great Gatsby hits theaters on Friday.
