Zachary Quinto Talks Star Trek Sexual Tension, Gets Dirty for Tyler Shields

Actor jokes with Today shows hosts about their flirting relationship

Star Trek's Zachary Quinto heated up the Today show this morning when he sat down with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford to discuss the "bromance" between his character Spock and Chris Pine's Captain Kirk.

"Always, always," he joked to the two hosts about the bond he and Pine share onscreen. "I feel like it's like your [Kotb and Gifford's] dynamic!"

Gifford laughed and responded, "So much sexual tension. It's palpable."

But the fun doesn't end there for the 35-year-old actor.

Quinto's latest photo shoot for photographer Tyler Shields is down and dirty. The Star Trek star is shown shirtless and covered head-to-toe in mud while lying on the dirty ground.
