Naturally, makeup trends leaned toward the edgy side of things with Ginnifer Goodwin, Taylor Swift and Emmy Rossum opting for dramatic smoky eyes. Also on the dark side? Lips. Nicole Richie, Minka Kelly and Rooney Mara all painted their pouts in deep plump shades.
There were quite a few hair-raising moments too. Jennifer Lopez and Kate Beckinsale looked stunning with style that crossed a pompadour with a faux mowhawk while Jennifer Morrison and Emily Blunt also wore a braided version of the style. And where wild hair was missing, extravagant hair flair took it's place. Katy Perry, Jamie King and Michelle Williams actually wore bejeweled crowns! Plus, there were a few subtle looks that definitely deserve attention. BFFs Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough both had sexy yet grungy hair and makeup combos.
