Decked out in a pretty peach one-piece by OYE Swimwear, J.Lo showed off her enviable figure as she relaxed on a beach chair.
Unfortunately, this was merely the calm before the storm.
Soon after, gunshots were reportedly heard nearby, prompting security to rush Lopez to safety.
Thankfully, Fort Lauderdale Police tell E! News that the star was actually on the other side of the beach and there are no reported injuries at this time.
Here's hoping the scare doesn't deter Lopez from returning to the sand.
