Brooke Mueller is getting help.

Contrary to recent tabloid reports, Charlie Sheen's ex has been at UCLA Medical Center since Friday, her rep, Steve Honig, tells E! News.

Mueller will be there for several more days, adds Honig, before she most likely transitions "directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse."

"Brooke misses her children and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom," her rep says.

NEWS: More on Denise Richards taking care of Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's sons

Mueller and Sheen's 3-year-old twins, Max and Bob, are in the temporary care of Denise Richards, a source confirmed to E! News.

This isn't the first time Richards, who has two daughters with Sheen, has helped out. In December, she briefly cared for the boys while Mueller was in rehab for addiction issues related to her use of Adderall.

A source tells E! News that "Brooke is not upset…she trusts Denise," and that "everyone is glad [Max and Bob] have some stability."
