Malin Akerman is doing a bang-up job in her new role.
The new mom plays the similarly platinum-haired New Wave goddess Debbie Harry in the upcoming CBGB, named after the iconic club at the center of New York City's punk-rock scene in the 1970s.
And, judging by these first-look pics, at least, they couldn't have picked a better actress to channel the famed Blondie singer.
Rickman stars as CBGB owner Hilly Kristal, who kept the club open from 1973 until 2006, when he lost out to the establishment and closed up shop after a rental dispute. Greene plays his daughter.
The real-life rockers being treated to onscreen flashbacks courtesy of the CBGB cast, in addition to Debbie Harry, include Lou Reed, Joey Ramone, Cheetah Chrome, Genya Ravan and Stiv Bators.
And yes, many pairs of stockings were harmed in the making of this film.
