The ice queen has defrosted!

Kate Hudson finally returns as Cassie July in Glee's Stevie Wonder tribute episode tomorrow night. But in a fun twist, she's not torturing Rachel (Lea Michele), aka her own personal David Schwimmer. No, she's wishing her student luck for her Funny Girl callback!

In a sneak peek from "Wonder-Ful," Hudson performs Wonder's hit song "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" and proves once again that the Emmys should just start engraving her name on the Best Guest Star trophy now! But she's not the only one returning in tomorrow night's episode...

In a second clip from the episode, Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.) return to McKinley in an attempt to get Jake (Jacob Artist), who they think is "Glee club's secret weapon," to man up and become the group's leader, and not just because he's "sexy as hell," as Mercedes puts it.

And Mercedes also casually drops in a reference to her music video, so it looks like life in Los Angeles is working out for the diva!

Glee airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on Fox.
