Steven Soderbergh: Magic Mike Sequel Is "Good Idea," Writes Novella Via Twitter

Director admits to working on next installment of hit film

Good news, ladies (and gentleman)!

It appears that a sequel to the hit flick Magic Mike is definitely in the works.

Steven Soderbergh admitted to Pride Source that the film is currently in the planning stages and that "it's getting pretty far along." He added, "We actually just had a meeting about it the other day."

In addition to the famous film director working on the next installment of Magic Mike, he's been busy penning a novella via Twitter.

Under the alias @bitchuation, Soderbergh tweeted out seven chapters of a mystery novel called Glue on Sunday evening.

The crime story is told from the second person, and has yet to be completed as of now.

Soderbergh certainly knows how to keep fans waiting in suspense!
