Connie Britton is all for a Friday Night Lights movie.

Donning a blue Temperley London dress, the Nashville star elaborated on rumors that a Friday Night Lights movie is in the works, saying "I would love it to happen. I'm a big supporter of it happening. I don't know if we will see it or not."

"I know it was being written and Peter Berg is really serious about so I think if everybody got on board, I don't see why we couldn't have a movie."

During our exclusive livestream of the White House Correspondents' dinner's red carpet tonight, Britton also dished on the famed journalist who revealed he's a huge fan of her work.

"[Bob Schieffer] just came up to me and said, 'I'm your biggest fan' adding, "he showed me his belt buckle…he's like, 'I'm a cowboy'...he watches Nashville and I think he watched Friday Night Lights."

"He told me he writes songs and I said, 'Well, send your songs...let's get them on the show.'"

So, will we see the CBS newsman on an upcoming Nashville episode (or at least hear one of his songs)?

We'll just have to wait and see.
