Oprah Winfrey's got her own network these days, but there are times she misses that one-hour time slot.

In an episode of Steve Harvey airing Friday, the media mogul emotionally recounted her favorite part of creating a daily talk show.

"I got a little choked up seeing you guys today," she said, pointing to the audience. "Because what I really miss is the camaraderie with the audience every day. So when I'm watching the show and the whole 'Ask Steve' segment and your ability to connect to the audience, I did that for 25 years."

"I never wanted to get to the spot where I thought, 'Well, I am done in this moment.' I wanted to keep rising, and to leave while I was still rising," she said. "And when I look back at the body of work…it's astounding."

Amen, sister. For more of Oprah and Steve's chat, tune in Friday. Check your local listings or www.steveharveytv.com/watch for time and channel information.
