While speculation has been growing that Robert Downey Jr. is done with the Iron Man franchise after the upcoming third installment, don't count him out just yet.

"You never know," RDJ teased at Wednesday night's Hollywood premiere of Iron Man 3. "Even though I'm the one wearing slacks, she wears the pants in the family."

The "she" is his wife of almost eight years, producer Susan Downey.

"The pressure," Susan cracked. "The pressure!"

Iron Man 3 director Shane Black realizes Downey isn't going "to commit to anything right now," but no matter.

"Of course, he should do another Iron Man," he said.

If this is the end, we're certainly going to miss watching Downey and his leading lady Gwyneth Paltrow taking playful verbal (and physical!) jabs at each other during their publicity tours.

Most recently, Paltrow gave Downey a little slap after he called her a snob during a press conference in London.

"You know, I guess getting slapped by the Most Beautiful Woman in the World—worse things can happen," Downey said. "I'll take it."
