Maternity shoes? Not for pregnant Kate Middleton!

Despite her recent heel mishap, the duchess continues to favor heels over flats. And we're not talking specialty pumps, either. Yes, in true Middleton wardrobe recycling fashion, the mom-to-be is pulling from her existing stash of stylish shoes.

Dressed in a darling Emilia Wickstead empire waist dress that showed off her growing baby bump perfectly, Prince William's wife hit the National Portrait Gallery earlier today in a familiar-looking pair of gray suede shoes.

As it turns out, the sleek Rupert Sanderson Malone heels were a fave of Middleton's long before she was expecting. We first spotted her in the pretty pumps in the summer of 2011, when she paired them with one of her go-to accessories—a fab fascinator—and again last March, when she wore them with a brilliant blue M Missoni coat to the Order of the Garter service.

And given the fact that the versatile heels go with just about anything, we can't say we blame the duchess for reaching for them again and again. But we can't help but wonder if she'll still rock the high heels once she's running after a royal little one!
