Move over, Mally!

The Columbus Zoo has named its newest monkey after the hilarious physicist on The Big Bang Theory.

Dr. Sheldon Cooper, a colobus monkey, was born on March 3 in Powell, Ohio, and was one of four recent births in the zoo's African forest exhibits, according to the Huffington Post.

We hope the latest addition to the zoo lives up to his cute Hollywood moniker.

It seems like Cooper is just the latest in a slew of famous monkeys.

Mally, Justin Bieber's pet, recently made headlines after the singer was forced to give up custody of the baby primate at a Munich airport. Mally's future home is still undecided, but a new suitable home is being sought for the furry friend.
