That's the latest rumor circulating in the tabloids, as reports claim the Oscar-winning actress will make her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in Cabaret.
The report in question claims Hathaway—who recently wowed critics with her live vocal chops in Les Misérables—will star alongside Alan Cumming, who won a Tony Award for his role in the legendary musical back in 1998.
But hold those Liza Minnelli comparisons, folks, because the rumor is nothing more than tabloid fodder.
"It's not true," a rep for the actress tells E! News.
As for movie star's next move? She's reportedly in talks to star alongside Matthew McConaughey in Christopher Nolan's latest sci-fi flick, Interstellar.
