Minka Kelly, Drew Barrymore Lighten Their Locks

Stars turn to celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham to ditch their dark strands for summer

Celebrity colorist Tracy Cunningham has been one busy woman.

First she took brunette beauty Minka Kelly to full-on blond last Friday—even pausing to share the stunning results on Instagram. Then, over the weekend she took new mom Drew Barrymore a few shades lighter. The Grey Gardens actress—who has famously tried every hair color and cut proudly showed off her new hue at the 2013 GLADD Awards.

"Minka is actually a natural blonde," Tracy tells E! News. "She has to dye her hair brown for work. So we went with a very pretty golden blond, not too dark or too light but very close to her natural color.

Tracy confirmed that Minka changed her color for a role but maybe Drew was inspired by other Hollywood stars? Recently Jennifer Lawrence, Sofia Vergara and Julianne Hough also went blond.
