Dating is tough on both sides of the pond.

But British singer Paloma Faith finds the singles scene much more confusing in the States than back home. On Monday's Chelsea Lately, the 31-year-old "Fall to Grace" singer expressed her frustration with dating in America.

"When English people date, we don't sleep together, and I'm finding in New York, everyone's having sex with eight people," she told Chelsea Handler. "To me, being English [dating] means like exchanging letters and flowers!"

"It's true," Chelsea deadpanned. "That's an American style of dating. People date several people at the same time and they have lots of casual sex—I thought that was pretty much kind of universal?"

"No," Paloma said with a laugh. "I do not!"

"So you're saving yourself for a relationship?" Chelsea asked. "Not that you're a virgin…"

"I'm definitely not a virgin," said Paloma.

"No," said Chelsea. "I don't think anybody watching this would think that you are a virgin. I wouldn't wanna insult you and call you one either."

Ha. Who says it's not OK to kiss and tell?
