Here's one guy who may be boldly going where many a celebrity stalker has gone before: the slammer.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered the man accused of stalking Star Trek: Voyager's Jeri Ryan to stand trial on five counts, including stalking and extortion.

Setting his phaser to stun, Judge Alan Ellis ruled Wednesday that there was enough evidence to try Marlon Pahtakhan, 22, for repeatedly pestering the actress to the point of making a credible threat against her life.

Apparently, Pahtakhan wasn't just some overzealous Trekkie looking for a nanobot injection. According to a criminal complaint filed November 13, Pahtakhan "did willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follow and harrass Jeri Ryan, and made a credible threat with the intent that she be placed in reasonable fear for her safety and the safety of her immediate family."

He was subsequently arrested November 16 and tossed in jail.

Ryan, one of the most searched-for celebs on the Web, is best known for her role as the curvaceous crew member Seven of Nine, the half-human, half-alien cyborg on UPN's hit Voyager. (This season is scheduled to be the last for the third Trek spinoff.)

Currently being held in lieu of $405,000 bail, Pahtakhan will be arraigned January 31 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
