George Jones is under the weather.

The 82-year-old country-music legend was admitted to a Nashville hospital Thursday for observation after a routine checkup revealed he was running a slight fever with irregular blood pressure, according to a statement on his website.

As a result, Jones' concerts this weekend in Atlanta, Ga., and Salem, Va., have been postponed. No word yet when he'll make those up, but his next show after that is set for April 27 in Huntsville, Ala.

The "Tender Years" singer was hospitalized briefly in March 2012 after coming down with an upper respiratory infection, but he later returned to his ever-busy touring schedule.

In 1999, Jones also made a full recovery from a near-fatal DUI crash that left him with a punctured lung and a deep cut to his liver.

Get well, George!
