Reese Witherspoon may have missed her chance to play Stevie Nicks on the big screen.

Despite being a fan of the 37-year-old Oscar winner, Nicks says Witherspoon's years to play her in a biopic are numbered.

"I've already told her she's almost too old," the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman, 64, told ET Canada at the Toronto premiere of her new documentary In Your Dreams.

"I love her, but she's like, ‘I could play your mother,'" Nicks added. "I'm like, ‘OK.'"

While Witherspoon may never play Nicks in a flick, it's not like she's hurting for the work.

Witherspoon was snapped on the set of her new movie The Good Lie in Atlanta this week channeling her inner country girl. Wearing the exact same boots, jean skirt and teal top she was snapped in last week, the currently brunette beauty was photographed getting out of a truck.
