It turns out that, contrary to what folks had hoped, Australian golfer Adam Scott is taken. Repeat, taken.

"I'm not single at all," the handsome 32-year-old Masters winner told CBS This Morning on Wednesday. "I'm very much in a relationship and very happy at the moment."

Aside from millions of women, the revelation that Scott is seeing someone named "Marie" is no doubt a bit of a blow to those over at The Bachelor.

After all, a source who works on the reality show had told E! News earlier this week, "We are definitely going to pursue [Scott]. So far, no meeting's been set but we're trying."

Well, it looks like they can stop trying now.
