The hunky actor—who's finally back to his beefed-up self after losing 38-pounds for The Dallas Buyers Club—was snapped on the set of his upcoming HBO series, True Detective, braving the rain in New Orleans Monday.
The sexy star sported slacks, a tie and butto- down shirt, along with a police badge on his buckle and a tattoo on his forearm, clearly getting into character for his role in the cop drama.
McConaughey is teaming up with Woody Harrelson for the series. The eight-episode drama centers around two detectives whose paths collide while on a 17-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana.
This is the third time the real-life pals have costarred onscreen. The twosome previously worked together on Ron Howard's Edtv back in 1999 as well as Surfer, Dude in 2008.
