Selena Gomez appears to be handling her breakup from Justin Bieber just fine.

Turning up on Tuesday's edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Spring Breakers star talked to Ellen DeGeneres about being single again and what she wants in a partner.

Here's a hint, guys: Be polite to mom and dad.

When asked by the funnylady if she's happy, Gomez said: "Yeah, I am. I met Brad Pitt. I'm great."

DeGeneres pressed her on whether she's been asked out since the split, and the singer-actress admitted that she hadn't. That prompted Ellen to wonder whether potential suitors might be "intimidated" because she's so "scary" beautiful and talented.

"I don't know," answered Selena. "Hopefully that's a lot nicer than to just say they're not into me."

Somehow, we doubt that's the case.

When asked what she's looking for in a guy, Gomez replied, "Someone that can make me laugh" and is "great to my parents."

The star also noted they don't have to be in showbiz.

Looking to play matchmaker, Ellen suggested she'll fix Selena up with her cousin, to which Gomez quipped, "I feel like I'm doing my eHarmony profile."

A girl's gotta start somewhere.
